We have committed to supporting the armed forces as part of our core business
News & blog » Supporting members of the Armed Forces
Last week (Saturday 24th, the last Saturday of June) we joined many individuals, communities and other organisations across the country to show our support for our Armed Forces and celebrate the Armed Forces Day.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. Showing support for the Armed Forces provides a much valued morale boost for the troops and their families.
This was the 9th Armed Forces Day and we understand a record breaking year, with over 300 events taking place across the UK, led by Liverpool.
Here at Arrochar Associates, we meet many service personnel each year, who are in the process of, or considering, a transition to the hospitality industry. Over the years, we have met many wonderful individuals, who each truly represent the spirit of our Armed Forces.
As a result, we have committed to supporting the armed forces as part of our core business.
We are proud to be a preferred supplier to the Career Transition Partnership and have committed to supporting those that serve by signing the Armed Forces Covenant. Our commitment beyond the covenant pledges is recognised with the Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze award.
We are also a recognised supporter of the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS), a Social Enterprise created to help the Armed Forces Community with their transition into civilian life. To support the financial funding of our Hospitality Business Management courses, we are approved by the MOD in support of the Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) scheme, which promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. See our listing here or click here for more details.
With our expertise and years of experience supporting the armed forces, we truly believe we are in the right place for your transition from military to hospitality. Let us help you experience a smooth and supported transition into the hospitality industry whether it be pub, club, hotel, restaurant, B&B or nightclub.
If you are a member of the education/learning staff, then we would of course be delighted to share with you our course content and an overview of our teams experience and expertise.
